Description
Antioxidant Nutrition
The formula, explained.
Glutathione is a compound the body makes and uses in its antioxidant systems. This formula provides 500 mg of reduced glutathione, 100 mg of milk thistle fruit and seed extract, and 50 mg of alpha-lipoic acid per capsule.
Research on oral glutathione is mixed. A six-month trial found changes in measured glutathione levels, while a shorter study found no significant effect on its selected markers. Changes in a laboratory marker do not by themselves demonstrate an improvement in how a person feels or functions.
We offer the ingredient details and study links so you can make an informed choice. This formula is not a detox treatment or a substitute for medical care.

Before you use it
Milk thistle can cause allergic reactions in people sensitive to related plants, including ragweed. Alpha-lipoic acid has been linked to rare low-blood-sugar reactions. Consult your healthcare professional if you use glucose-lowering medicine or experience symptoms of low blood sugar.
For adults. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before use if you are pregnant or nursing, take medication, have a medical condition, or are planning surgery. Keep out of reach of children. Follow the product label and do not exceed its directions.
Read the research
A six-month glutathione trial
A trial in 54 adults studied 250 or 1,000 mg/day and found increases in several glutathione measurements. Neither dose was this 500 mg combination, and clinical health benefits were not established.
A shorter trial with different findings
A four-week trial of 500 mg twice daily in 40 adults did not find significant changes in the measured glutathione or oxidative-stress markers. Duration and formulation matter.
